The Bristol office, located in Clifton, is ideally placed to advise clients in South and West with easy access to M4 and M5. The office opened in 1998 and has successfully grown to 4 partners and over 25 staff.
The office is divided into 2 teams:
Private Wealth and Estates Group
Headed by Jerry Barnes and supported by Richard Cartwright (Private Client Tax partner), this is a highly specialised accounting, tax and trust team that deal with private clients and their personal wealth. We work alongside the solicitors, land agents, private banks and investment managers to provide a bespoke personal service at a value for money price. Landed estates and farms are a speciality and the office is particularly expert in setting up new entrants to the landed estate market as far as administration, bookkeeping, VAT etc are concerned. We act for a number of non UK purchasers of UK land and buildings and can offer Offshore support through our Guernsey office.
The Bristol Office was a major contributor to the Firms' recent award as STEP Private Client Accountants for 2006/07.
Business Advisory Group
This group is led by partners David Lemon and David Wragg, and there is full local and national back up. This is predominately a service aimed at Owner managed Businesses in South West but the team also deals with a number of AIM Listed clients. David Wragg is one of the partners in the South West that offers a full corporate finance service, backed by our team in London and he has a growing list of Commercial Property and Financial Services clients. David Lemon is our lead partner on Sports and Media work and both David's have clients in professional services and charities. They are backed up by a highly experienced audit and corporation tax team.
Bristol is a full training office ( ACA, ACCA ,CTA) and we take on trainees at all levels.
