Steve is a senior manager in the audit department in the Bournemouth office, servicing many owner-managed and finance-backed businesses.
Steve has experience of working across a wide range of sectors, including engineering, manufacturing, retail, professional practices, property, hotels, recruitment and care homes.
Steve joined Saffery in February 2023 after spending many years working at a number of top 20 accountancy firms. He looks to provide exceptional client service and ensures that he and his team deliver this all year round. Steve and his team build close relationships with their clients to better understand, identify and address key issues to aid continued growth and development.
Steve is also a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
Key experience
- Delivering audits for a variety of clients across many different sectors in accordance with UK GAAP,
- Assisting clients with day-to-day audit, accounting and tax compliance matters, and dealing with support queries, as required,
- Providing SRA Accounts Rules Assurance services to law firms of varying size,
- Advising clients on accounting and technical issues for non-routine transactions.
Interests
Steve is married and enjoys holidaying with his wife. Most weekends involve sport-related activities, often involving being taxi to his grandson for football games as well as watching the local football team.
