High-net-worth personal tax advisor joins Saffery

A well-known tax expert who has spent more than 25 years advising high net worth individuals on their personal tax affairs has joined Saffery’s Leeds office.

Fiona Harford-Cross joins the firm as a private client senior tax manager. Fiona previously worked at KPMG in Leeds for more than 20 years and she also spent six years at Deloitte.

In her new role she will advise high net worth individuals based across Yorkshire and the North of England on all aspects of their personal tax, with a particular focus on trusts, landed estates and family wealth structuring.

Saffery now has a 14-strong team in its personal and private client tax division in Yorkshire, who help individual clients structure their tax affairs and navigate their responsibilities in a practical, commercial way that is tailored to their circumstances.

The firm relocated its Yorkshire office to Wellington Place, in Leeds city centre, last year and the office now employs a team of 72 people, including five experienced partners leading on every client relationship.

These are both areas that I have spent many years specialising in, and when the firm moved to Leeds late last year, I knew it was a place where I could work and add further value.
