Saffery in Edinburgh has added 15 staff across corporate tax, accounting and audit, taking its headcount to more than 75.
In its corporate tax team, Saffery has appointed Louise Anderson as senior manager, Aimee O’Hara-Wilson as manager and Sophie Murray joins as a tax assistant.
George Dickson and Oliver Kelly join the firm’s audit division as senior associates and Max Venditti has been appointed as an associate. In addition, Nathan Stringer, Lewis Murdoch, Ollie Stevens and Freddie Lambert all join as audit assistants.
The firm has also bolstered its accounting team with three new accounts assistants in Pearce Hopkins, Lilian Morrison and Oliver Magowan.
Finally, Clare McCulloch has been appointed as an executive assistant and Sophie O’Driscoll becomes the Edinburgh office’s new business support assistant.
In addition to the 15 new starters, Chris Nield, Niamh Boyd and Finley Stokes are also completing internships at the firm.
Saffery has had an office in Edinburgh for more than 30 years and last year the office was relocated to 9 Haymarket Square, at the heart of the acclaimed Haymarket Edinburgh development. These latest appointments mean the firm now employs more than 75 people in Edinburgh.
Louise Anderson has spent more than 25 years working in Edinburgh at both a ‘big four’ firm and at an independent accountancy practice, as well as within an in-house accounts team.
