George is a Senior Manager in our Employment Tax team and is part of the firm’s Mid-Market & Not for Profit Team.
He brings to the firm a wealth of experience having worked in the following areas during the career which include global mobility, international social security, international income tax and employment tax.
George is focused foremost on providing a high level of personal service to his clients and prides himself on staying close and developing relationships with his clients.
George joined Saffery in September 2022 after spending most of his career with Big Four firms.
Key experience
- UK employment tax compliance, including advising on benefit in kind reporting, PAYE Settlement Agreements and management of voluntary disclosures to HM Revenue & Customs,
- Heads up and manages our firm’s Global Mobility service offering,
- Provides tax due diligence support on corporate transactions,
- Negotiating with HMRC on behalf of clients following PAYE reviews.
Interests
George is married with one daughter, an ageing dog and lives in northwest London. He enjoys travelling, exploring London at weekends and eating out. He is a massive fan of Rangers FC and will often travel to Glasgow to take in games.
