Roots so Deep – a natural capital event

Roots so deep

Monday 24 June | Arrival and lunch 12:00, Presentation followed by Q&A – 12:30 – 14:30 | Saffery, 71 Queen Victoria Street, London EC4V 4BE

Could cows help solve climate change?

Join us on Monday 24 June for a lunch event at which filmmaker Peter Byck will discuss scientific research that shows how the humble cow could be part of the solution to climate change, rather than the cause of it.

Peter’s presentation will be based on his Roots so Deep documentary series and the event is being jointly held with First Milk, AGROLO and Nestle.

Peter will share data from an extensive study on grazing in the US and its implications for the world’s soils, food and wildlife.

Bill Weir from CNN described Roots so Deep as “…hands down the best agriculture filmmaking I’ve ever seen. The characters are all so likable and captivating, the graphics are stunning, and I learned a ton about ecology… but none of that would matter without Peter Byck’s soul and empathy as storyteller.”

Saffery are collating the responses to this event. As this is a jointly hosted event, Saffery will share your name and organisation name with their co-hosts for the administration of this event.
