The 2021 Top Employers have been announced and Saffery Champness has been recognised as a Top Employer in the UK for the 18th consecutive year.
Every year the firm goes through a rigorous assessment and this year, despite the challenges of working remotely, Saffery Champness demonstrated progress in developing its people practices, HR policies and processes.
The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey. This survey covers areas such as people strategy, leadership, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, wellbeing, reward and recognition, values and sustainability.
Julia Paulding, HR Director at Saffery Champness, commented:
“We are delighted to have been recognised once again for our people practices and outstanding work environment. Despite the disruption of the pandemic, we have pulled together as a firm to support our clients and each other, embraced new ways of working and technologies, and continued to progress our exciting business plan targets in relation to people and culture.”
David Plink, CEO of the Top Employers Institute, commented:
“Despite the challenging year we have experienced (which has certainly made an impact on organisations around the globe), Saffery Champness has continued to demonstrate the power of putting their people first in the workplace. We are proud to share this year’s announcement and congratulate the organisations who have been certified in their respective countries through the Top Employers Institute programme.”
Those employers that are certified as Top Employers demonstrate that they put their people first: when employees are empowered by people practices, they thrive. Recognition for these people practices showcases organisations as employers of choice.
