Saffery duo transforms into Christmas elves for ‘worthwhile cause’

Saffery duo

In support of Wycombe Homeless Connection – a charity that serves people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in south Buckinghamshire – a couple of Christmas elves from Saffery joined the volunteers at the charity’s decoration workshop.

The decorations contained poignant wishes from people who are threatened with homelessness or are already living on the streets – from hoping to not be evicted to wanting to feel safe wherever they stay over Christmas.

The decorations will be used to dress Christmas trees at Tree Festivals in High Wycombe, Amersham and Holmer Green in Buckinghamshire, which will be raising much needed funds for the charity.

Phil Pryor, Audit Assistant Manager and Toni Barlett, Saffery’s Office Manager thoroughly enjoyed the workshop with Toni explaining, “It was a great morning and so nice to be able to help out in the knowledge that our efforts were going to help with raising funds at these events for a very worthwhile cause.”

Saffery in High Wycombe places considerable importance on supporting communities across Buckinghamshire. In addition to raising funds for several local charities, it enjoys a long-standing relationship with Heart of Bucks, which supports people in poverty and isolation, young people and the environment.
