Saffery Trust was established in Guernsey in 1977 and in Switzerland in 2008. In October 2018 a presence in the Dubai International Financial Centre was established. A Cayman offering was launched in 2020, with Saffery Trust operating as a subsidiary under a licenced Cayman trust company. Following regulatory approval and the acquisition of a Cayman trust company in 2022, Saffery Trust then opened an office under its own licence.
