Sharon Coburn

Associate Director, Guernsey

Ethos

I have always been personable and enjoy building relationships with people from all walks of life. I have an enquiring mind and love to learn about what drives others both professionally and personally and support them in achieving their goals wherever possible.

Methodical and highly organised, I like to get to the root of various issues and understand why things are done in a certain way. In doing so, I enjoy finding opportunities to improve policies and procedures and being adaptable in my outlook.

Role

As Associate Director of People & Culture, my primary responsibilities are assisting the Board in getting the most out of our people and ensuring that everyone feels valued at Saffery Trust.

Saffery Trust has a strong culture centred around our core values, and part of my role is to ensure that culture is upheld. This encompasses promoting a healthy work-life balance for our team members and the provision of initiatives to support staff health and wellbeing.

I am responsible for ensuring we put the right people in the right place, including through recruitment campaigns and supporting the internal career progress of our team members.
