While completely confident and comfortable in my own company, I also never underestimate the value of relationships. I joined Saffery Trust more than thirty years ago, learning every stage of the business as I progressed in my career, with my loyalty rooted firmly in the people.
After three decades in the industry, the name of Saffery Trust is as important to me now as my own. The business’ philosophy aligns closely with mine in respect of both personal accountability and striving for excellence. I have always been motivated by a desire to add value in both my work and interactions with clients and colleagues and I have confidence in my ability to do so.
Role
A large part of my role is leading our trust offering in the Channel Islands, Switzerland, Dubai and the Cayman Islands, working closely with colleagues in those jurisdictions on client, operational and strategic matters.
I enjoy looking after clients and maintaining those relationships, engaging with them, and working together to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities presented.
My expertise, and those of our team, have been gained through experience. We look at every opportunity in any asset class with enthusiasm and interest. Saffery Trust’s independence allows us to work with anyone, anywhere while assessing and mitigating risk.
I also sit on Saffery LLP’s Management Board.
Key experience
- International jurisdictional structuring for corporate and private clients, including high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, and intra-generational family trusts.
- Multi-jurisdictional experience in terms of both clients and structures across a range of assets including residential, commercial and development property, investments, yacht ownership/management and other non-standard asset classes.
- Acting for open and closed ended funds, unit trusts and partnerships.
