Ross is a Partner in the Peterborough office supporting mostly corporate, entrepreneurial and international businesses across a range of sectors including manufacturing, agricultural, construction, technology, wholesale as well as transport and logistics.
Ross works closely with his clients to ensure he can support their ever-changing needs and deliver valuable advisory support as well as service-led compliance support. His experience ranges from looking after new start-up businesses to well established groups with turnover in excess of £300 million, including international groups. Ross has a focus on owner-managed businesses but also supports a number of private-equity owned businesses.
Ross is a registered auditor and is also CTA qualified as well as being experienced in a wide range of advisory services including accountancy, audit, financial reporting, due diligence and valuations.
Ross is the staff partner for the Peterborough office and is also a member of the firm’s Entrepreneurs National Practice Group, which is focused on providing services, thought leadership and support for entrepreneurial clients across a range of sectors.
Key experience
- Providing client service driven audit support for statutory and non-statutory audit for domestic and international companies and groups,
- Supporting clients with group restructuring including the winding up and capital distribution of family owned companies and group subsidiaries,
- Assurance and accounting services for service charge companies,
- Providing accounting and due diligence support on transactions,
- Advising clients on changes to the accounting standards including UK GAAP and IFRS,
- Preparing budgets and cash flow forecasting to supporting clients in obtaining finance.
Interests
Ross is married with two children living in the area surrounding Peterborough. He has a keen interest in sports including football, golf, motor racing and skiing.
