Samantha Holden

Samantha manages a family office team responsible for the administration of offshore structures and management of assets for ultra-high net families, with a focus on the Middle East. Samantha works closely with the families’ trusted advisers and Family Offices on all legal, tax and banking matters and has management responsibility for the administration of these structures. She is also responsible for all the financial aspects, administration and reporting for the team.

Samantha began her career in the finance industry in 2007 and joined Saffery Champness in 2011 as a Trust Administrator and was promoted to Trust Manager in 2019. Born in Kent, Samantha moved to Guernsey in 2007 following University having attained a 2:1 in Environmental Science from Southampton University.

Key experience

  • Samantha has worked closely with the families’ trusted advisers and Family Offices in dealing with their nonstandard assets, such as the acquisition and operation of private aircraft, superyachts, fine art, antiquities and jewellery, as well as dealing with non-standard investments, including hotel development and operations, private businesses, hedge funds and private equity.
  • She has spent a number of years being responsible for all aspects of the financial reporting for the Trust and Company structures including comprehensive cash flow monitoring/reporting, investment monitoring and the financial statements/audit process, in relation to these assets and investments.
  • Samantha has also gained extensive experience of dealing with Estate matters, such as being part of the team involved in obtaining a Blessing from the Grand Cayman Court for a Momentous Decision for the distribution of high value and complex trust assets in accordance with Shari’a Law.


Samantha enjoys travelling, baking, yoga, running and is also a keen football supporter.
