Shane has over 15 years of experience working with a large variety of clients, with a particular specialism in the music, sport and entertainment sectors. He has also advised clients in sectors such as property, technology and financial services.
He advises clients on how to structure their finance solutions by either a full outsourcing service or to assist in establishing the most effective and efficient in-house finance function by providing training or a review of the current systems and procedures.
He has been part of a team that has assisted many start-up businesses to plan all aspects of their finance functions, and has also assisted established businesses on implementing changes within their accounting systems.
Shane is a member of the firms specialist Music Team, which aims to identify new and better ways of assisting our clients in the music sector, whether via initiatives around touring, royalty accounting or catalogue sales.
Key experience
- Working within a team to provide a fully outsourced finance function for a number of high-profile music, sport and film clients, assisting with all aspects of their finances, including their personal finances where required,
- Dealing with a significant insurance claim on behalf of a client,
- Providing a full accounting function for major UK artists’ international tours,
- Providing an in-house financial solution for a large international hotel and property group consolidation.
Interests
Shane lives in Essex and is married with two children. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym and also producing and releasing his own music. He has a passion for electronic music and was even a resident DJ at numerous top London nightclubs.
