Simon Butler

Simon joined Saffery in August 2021 and works across all client sectors, providing payroll support to a wide range of clients.

His experience covers payrolls of varying size and complexity, from small household payrolls for individual employers through to larger company payrolls.

Prior to joining Saffery, Simon specialised in the education sector, giving him a strong understanding of the practical payroll requirements faced by organisations with diverse workforces.

He is focused on delivering a responsive, client-focused service and helping clients keep up to date with changing payroll legislation.

  • Supporting clients on registration of PAYE schemes,
  • Supporting clients on UK payroll operations,
  • Negotiating with HMRC on behalf of clients following PAYE reviews.

Interests

Simon has a keen interest in board games and helps to run a local board game and social deduction game group. He is also an avid follower of football, both English (Spurs) and American (49ers).
