Simon is a Business Advisory Audit Partner, advising a broad range of organisations including privately owned businesses, professional partnerships, international groups and not-for-profit entities.
He provides strategic guidance across audit, accounting and tax, helping clients navigate complex financial and commercial challenges while supporting long-term growth.
Simon’s experience spans business planning and forecasting, restructuring, acquisitions and disposals, valuations and international matters. He works closely with management teams and business owners to align financial strategy with wider commercial objectives, ensuring solutions are both technically robust and practical.
In addition to his client-facing role, Simon previously served as the firm’s Finance Partner and a member of the Management Board. This experience gives him a strong understanding of the priorities and pressures facing senior finance leaders, including Finance Directors and CFOs. He brings this insight to his client work, offering pragmatic, board-level advice grounded in real-world decision-making.
Simon is known for building long-term relationships and taking the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances. His approach is collaborative and commercially focused, helping clients identify opportunities, manage risk and make informed decisions with confidence.
He is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), enabling him to provide integrated advice that considers both business and personal objectives in a tax-efficient way.
Interests
Simon lives in Lincolnshire and spends most of his spare time with his family. When time and weather permits, he spends time either cycling or indulging in his passion for cars. He has an interest in all sports and enjoys playing badminton on a regular basis. Come the winter, he also has a passion for skiing.
