Simon is the firm’s Finance Partner. He’s an experienced audit partner, a qualified accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, and a member of the firm’s Management Board.
After joining Saffery in 1998, Simon progressed through the ranks to partner where he advised a variety of organisations, including privately owned businesses, regulated businesses, professional partnerships, and not-for-profits. In 2021 he took up his current role as Finance Partner.
In addition to running the firm’s finance function, Simon’s experience includes business acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, forensic accounting, cash flow management and financial systems appraisals.
Interests
Simon lives in Lincolnshire and spends most of his spare time with his family. When time and weather permits, he spends time either cycling or indulging in his passion for cars. He has an interest in all sports and enjoys playing squash. Come the winter, he also has a passion for skiing.
