Simon is a member of the firm’s Leadership Board. He also represents the firm on the EMEA Region Board of Nexia, the global accounting network of which Saffery is a member.
His focus is on delivering value added commercial support to his clients on matters such as acquisitions, fundraising, profit optimisation and grooming businesses for sale. Simon’s experience covers owner-managed businesses and listed companies and spans a broad range of industry sectors.
Simon advises clients in sectors such as professional services, recruitment businesses, professional sports, FCA regulated businesses, manufacturing, retail, IT and software.
Key experience
- Providing value-added statutory audits with reports to management on risk management, cost saving opportunities and financial benchmarking,
- Helping international companies set up subsidiaries in the UK and helping UK businesses with their international growth strategies,
- Advising clients through transactions, including acquisitions and exit strategies,
- Helping companies as they grow, including advising on appropriate management and reporting structures, profit optimisation and providing an external perspective on business issues,
- Assisting with designing and implementing effective employee remuneration and incentive schemes.
Interests
Simon has two sons and enjoys skiing, walking his dogs, tennis, reading and travel.
