Stuart is a director in the Employment Tax Team in the London office. He brings to the firm a wealth of experience having worked in the following areas during the career which include: payroll, global mobility, personal tax and employment tax.
Stuart is focused foremost on providing a high level of personal service to his clients and prides himself on staying close and developing relationships with his clients.
Stuart has experience of working across a wide range of sectors that includes financial services, shipping, insurance and technology.
Stuart joined Saffery in October 2021 after spending most of his career at a top 10 accountancy firm.
Key experience
- Advising clients on the payroll and employment tax implications of opening overseas operations,
- Supporting clients on opening up UK operations covering all payroll and employment tax matters,
- Providing tax due diligence support on corporate transactions,
- Negotiating with HMRC on behalf of clients following PAYE reviews.
Interests
Stuart is married with two kids and a dog and lives in Essex. He is a keen footballer and is passionate about grassroots football having managed his eldest son football team for the last nine years. He sits on the committee of Hashtag United and has responsibility for sponsorship.
