Will is a Senior Manager in the Transaction Services team, based in London.
Will specialises in financial due diligence and related transaction support services, advising owner‑managed businesses, private equity investors, corporate clients and high net worth individuals on buy-side and sell-side transactions.
His experience spans a broad range of sectors, with particular emphasis on real estate, hotels, business services, IT and cyber security, recruitment, and financial services.
Will has supported transactions at key stages of the deal process, including bid support and offer reviews, price‑focused analyses such as quality of earnings and working capital, and SPA advisory and completion accounts support.
Will joined Saffery after studying law at Durham University and trained in the firm’s audit team before transferring into the Transaction Services team in 2022.
Key experience
- Providing financial due diligence on a number of acquisitions by an IT managed services and cyber security business, supporting its buy-and-build strategy, whilst also preparing a vendor due diligence report on the business to support it in raising debt to fund the acquisitions,
- Supporting an overseas, private equity‑backed fire protection and security business with its UK expansion through the provision of financial due diligence and wider transaction support services,
- Advising on a number of real estate transactions on the buy-side, including several hotels, providing financial due diligence services and supporting commercial negotiations,
- Providing vendor due diligence services to a fire protection and facilities management group to support its private equity investment,
- Advising founders across a range of sectors on the sale of their business through vendor assistance services, including ensuring that their interests are protected in the transaction SPA.
Interests
Will lives in south‑west London with his girlfriend and their dog, Winnie. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, socialising with friends, and watching or playing cricket and golf.
