Will is a member of the Private Wealth and Estates Group, with a particular focus on trusts and their beneficiaries. He specialises in providing advice with respect to both UK and offshore trusts, with regard to UK tax compliance requirements and UK tax planning opportunities.
Will has over 15 years’ experience in working in the private client industry. Prior to joining Saffery, he worked at a central London Law firm, ultimately taking responsibility for running their trust department.
In addition, Will has experience in dealing with the reporting of previously undeclared income and gains for both individuals and trusts, and has helped agree settlements with HM Revenue & Customs. He also advises individuals and non-resident companies with respect to their UK tax reporting obligations and UK tax mitigation.
Will is qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor and a Trust and Estate Practitioner, and is also a member of the ATT. He is an active member of the firm’s Trust Forum, and Land & Rural Group.

- UK tax compliance for non-UK trusts and their beneficiaries, including the calculation of historic income and gains positions.
- Advice to UK and offshore trustees with regard to restructuring for both tax and administrative efficiency.
- Co-ordinating and chairing trustees’ meetings, particularly with regard to large groups of family trusts, and/or involving multiple beneficiaries.
Interests
Will is married with three children. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing board games and occasionally a very poor standard of poker.
