What’s changed – and what’s grown?

Over the past year, we’ve built on the strong foundations laid by our Responsible Business (RB) Cornerstone group, evolving our strategy and expanding our reach. We’ve strengthened governance by establishing RB Groups across the firm, empowering teams to engage locally and forge meaningful charity partnerships that deliver real, local impact. Our new social impact strategy, Helping Build Sustainable Futures, sets a clear direction for how we’ll deepen our contribution, aligning our efforts, amplifying our influence, and supporting the communities we’re part of. Our Leadership Boards have also approved the strategic project to define and implement our net zero pledge and action plan.

Our people, our purpose

We’re building on a strong foundation of ethics and integrity to embed responsible business across Saffery.

Our next steps look at:

• Launching our social impact strategy by partnering with charities, aligning volunteering with development, and evolving our giving approach,
• Defining social impact KPIs to measure and guide our progress,
• Advancing climate commitments through data analysis and preparing an externally verified pledge, and
• Expanding ED&I initiatives with inclusive leadership training and shaping our 2030 strategy.

We’re also committed to listening, learning, and supporting our colleagues, clients, and communities as we grow together.

We know that responsible business is not a destination, it’s a continuous journey; we’re always looking to do the right thing as we go.
