Saffery’s annual Law Firm Karting event welcomed a record 14 teams this year, making it the biggest event in its eight-year history.
Held at South Coast Karting, the evening brought together law firms from across the region for some friendly competition, networking and fundraising. While previous events have benefited from summer sunshine, this year’s drivers faced heavy rain and a fully dark track, adding an extra challenge to the race.
Despite the wet conditions, the competition was as fierce as ever, with the final podium places going to:
- Laceys Solicitors
- Steele Raymond LLP Solicitors
- Lester Aldridge
Most importantly, the event raised £1,400 for Saffery’s charity partner, Home-Start Wessex, thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved.
Jamie Lane, Partner at Saffery, said: “What a turnout – and what an evening. Despite a pretty wet track, the competition was pretty fierce between our teams at the annual Law Firm Karting event at South Coast Karting.”
