Rural Business – December 2019
5 Dec 2019
Welcome to the December 2019 issue of Rural Business.
Our first article in this issue is a round-up of some of the key considerations for those employers engaging short-term workers – from National Minimum Wage regulations through to pensions auto-enrolment.
Our second article looks to the future: in particular, the implications of changes to Business Property Relief and the test considering the balance of trading and investment activities within a business. We set out some of the ways rural businesses might adapt to meet a new qualification test, should it be introduced.
Cash flow is the lifeblood of any business and having effective tools in place to manage and monitor this can be extremely beneficial. Our final article looks at some of the cloud accounting solutions and their benefits.
I hope that you find this issue interesting and informative. Do feel free to contact me if you have questions relating to any of these issues.
