Saffery Trust has been announced as a finalist in the “Private Client Trust Company (Independent)” category for the 2025 eprivateclient Excellence Awards.
The firm – which has offices in the Cayman Islands, Dubai, Guernsey, and Switzerland – has seen repeat success in the category, being named winner in both 2024 and 2022, having chosen not to enter in 2023.
The Awards are held in high regard within the private client sector, with firms judged on merit for their contributions to the industry.
As part of the submission, each firm must demonstrate its achievements over the prior year including a commitment to client care, service, and experience, talent management, innovation and digital solutions, and the effectiveness of its marketing and communications strategy.
2024 was noteworthy for Saffery Trust, with highlights including becoming Cyber Essentials certified, reaccreditation as a STEP Platinum Employer for the 10th consecutive year, certification by Great Place to Work Switzerland, and becoming the first trustee to partner with crypto bookkeeping firm, Cryptio, and blockchain data security firm, Wecan.
The firm also celebrated 11 promotions, appointed a new director and two trust officers in Cayman, and created a People & Culture Associate Director role.
Alongside its 2024 eprivateclient Excellence Award win last year, Saffery Trust was also named Trust Company of the Year at the STEP Private Client Awards and winner of the Corporate Social Responsibility/Diversity category in The Twelfth Annual Wealthbriefing European Awards.
