Six charities will receive donations from Saffery Trust Guernsey on behalf of the firm’s 2024/25 Client Service Award winners.

The peer-nominated awards recognise Guernsey team members who consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional client service throughout the year. Winners are selected by a committee comprising four team members from across the office. Quarterly winners receive gift vouchers, with a select few outstanding individuals receiving an annual award, which includes a gift voucher and a £100 donation to a charity of their choice.

The award initiative launched in 2021, as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to client service excellence. Recognising that team members in every role contribute to the firm’s success, the awards are open to all staff.

Over the last year, 35 quarterly awards and seven annual awards were distributed in recognition and celebration of outstanding efforts.

Saffery Trust Senior Officer Sally Hunt and Senior Administrator Greg Tompkins each received an award for a joint project, and both chose Heartbeat House, a charity supporting individuals diagnosed with congenital and cardiovascular disease.

Other recipients were Assistant Manager Karin Brehaut, Bookkeeper Eloise La Roux, Client Accounting Senior Administrator, Lucy Wickins, Officer Danielle Vidamour and Senior Administrator Codie Ford, who chose to benefit the Guernsey Voluntary Service, the Guernsey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Wellbeing Animals Guernsey, The Ivy Trust, and Les Bourgs Hospice respectively.

Saffery Trust Managing Director, Nick Batiste, said:

“The delivery of client service excellence is a cornerstone of Saffery Trust, and all our people are dedicated to this shared goal. These awards are incredibly important to recognise team members who consistently make exceptional contributions outside the remit of their day-to-day roles. Sally, Greg, Lucy, Karin, Eloise, Danielle, and Codie are deserving recipients and valued members of the team. They have chosen extremely worthwhile causes, and we’re proud to support them as part of our commitment to being a responsible business.”
