STEP Cayman NextGen Committee extends open invitation to launch party sponsored by Saffery Trust

The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) Cayman Islands branch will be hosting a launch party for its new NextGen initiative.

The initiative, which is sponsored by Saffery Trust, has been established to engage and support the next generation of Caymanian trust professionals. The event is open to anyone interested in building a career in Cayman’s thriving trust industry and associated sectors, including law, banking and investment.

The STEP Cayman NextGen Committee is the second of its kind globally, demonstrating a commitment from STEP Cayman to support Caymanians on their career paths, including undertaking professional qualifications.

The launch party will have live music from local musicians and will be an opportunity to find out more about what STEP and the NextGen Committee have to offer.

STEP Cayman NextGen Committee Chair, James Long, said the launch party will be the start of several events.

“We are really excited about a variety of events we will be hosting this year, ranging from education seminars to personal development sessions.

“The launch event is open to everyone, whether you’re a long-term member, thinking about studying or working in the trust industry, or simply want to find out more about what the NextGen Committee has to offer. Our Committee members will be on hand to answer any questions and it will be a fantastic opportunity to meet current and prospective Caymanian professionals.”

Saffery Trust Associate Director and STEP Cayman NextGen Committee member, Donna Brehaut, added:

“Saffery Trust is proud to sponsor this event and the NextGen Committee. STEP events are a fantastic way to learn about the industry and meet other like-minded people. The launch party looks set to be a great evening and I hope many people will take up the opportunity to find out more about how the Committee can support their career goals.”

The launch party will take place at Dukes on Thursday 21 March from 6pm.

The event is free, however spaces are limited so register for a spot by emailing [email protected]
