Saffery is proud to announce a new four-strong team that will lead the next phase of its responsible business commitment to delivering positive social and environmental impact across the firm.
The team is led by Natalie Tickle, head of responsible business, who joined Saffery in April 2026. She has more than 20 years’ experience in responsible business roles having worked in professional services firms and spent seven years as head of programmes at Heart of the City, a charity that supports small and medium sized businesses to develop their approach to responsible business.
Natalie’s team also comprises Youcef Hassaine who joins as inclusion and wellbeing manager and brings experience in HR, diversity, equity and inclusion and culture change having previously worked at NatWest, Transport for London and PwC. Laura McCullough joins as sustainability and reporting manager with experience in environmental sustainability across the private, public and charity sectors and was most recently working in the climate team at the City of London Corporation. Ciara Wathan transfers to the team as responsible business assistant, having previously worked in Saffery’s people operations function.
Responsible business report
We have also launched our most recent responsible business report, which highlights the firm’s key achievements during the 2025/26 year.
Saffery colleagues helped deliver the first year of its social impact strategy, Helping Build Sustainable Futures, alongside a new volunteering policy that provides colleagues with 1.5 days of volunteering leave each year. The firm also developed partnerships with local charities across its nine offices and launched a national partnership with literacy charity Chapter One, offering 1:1 reading support for children.
Bringing learning and development together under one clear framework, the firm launched the Saffery Academy and delivered its first equality, diversity and inclusion strategy for 2023-26, Everyone Belongs, focused on inclusion, belonging and wellbeing.
In early September, Saffery also set out its net zero commitment with targets aligned to the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). The firm’s emissions reduction plan focuses on four key areas: improving energy efficiency and increasing renewable electricity across its offices, working with suppliers to deliver emissions reduction plans, cutting the environmental impact of business travel and encouraging lower-carbon commuting.
“Saffery has a lot to be proud of and is genuinely committed to making a positive difference. Our new team will build on this momentum by bringing people together and delivering meaningful impact in the areas that matter most,” commented Natalie.
