Financial and tax due diligence for global technology services business
Planit provides high quality technological engineering, quality assurance and application testing services to businesses both in the UK and internationally, and have ambitions to expand their offerings throughout the UK and into Europe. The company is owned by Nomura Research Institute, a Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed global provider of technology consulting services and system solutions.
The acquisition of Shift Left will enable Planit to broaden its UK presence. Shift Left specialise in providing technology and testing services to businesses to help drive success.
How did we assist in the acquisition?
Our Corporate Finance Team, led by Niraj Patel, advised Planit on its acquisition of Shift Left. We provided financial and tax due diligence services, tax advice and SPA advisory services. The acquisition increases Planit’s UK headcount to over 300 people, whilst moving the group closer to their ambition of becoming the top firm in the industry before the completion of its ‘Vision 2030’ strategy.
Shift Left will continue to operate under its own brand, and the partnership with Planit will allow Shift Left to continue its focus on providing quality customer service, while taking advantage of the scale and capability that Planit is able to offer.
