Alison is a director in the National Tax team. She specialises in tax knowledge and policy, including engagement with government on proposed changes to the tax system and internal policy and tax risk management issues. Currently, her particular focus is on the increasing digitisation of the tax system, including the Making Tax Digital programme, and its impact on both taxpayers and advisers.
Alison works with both the Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is Vice-Chair of the CIOT’s Digitalisation and Agent Services Committee.
Alison lives in Kent and splits her spare time between reading, running, karate and crafting.
