Matthew has over 15 years’ experience in the finance industry and has joined Saffery Champness from a privately owned trust company where he managed complex and multi-jurisdictional family structures. Matthew works closely with our fiduciary teams assisting in providing bespoke offshore solutions for UHNWI’s across a range of jurisdictions. He also has a focus on business development for the firm, helping to expand its reach and unlock new market opportunities for the fiduciaries business.
Matthew has been included in the Citywealth Leaders list for the past seven years and won the Bronze Manager of the Year award at the 2019 Citywealth Future Leaders Awards. Matthew also features in ePrivate Client’s 2020 Top 35 under 35 list across the UK and the Crown Dependencies.
Matthew is also a committee member for the Guernsey branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and also serves as its Student Liaison Officer, regularly working with students to provide advice and guidance throughout their studies.

When he is not looking after his young family (or walking the family dog), Matthew is a keen sportsman and regularly plays football and hockey at club level; he has previously represented Guernsey on the hockey pitch.
