David specialises in all aspects of corporate tax, and has experience of dealing with a broad range of owner managed businesses and not-for-profit organisations, as well as UK subsidiaries of international clients with a specific focus on the property, hospitality and recruitment sectors.
David joined Saffery Champness in October 2016 with a combined 18 years’ experience of working within two top 10 accountancy firms.
- Advising on tax issues associated with acquisitions and disposals, including undertaking tax due diligence for purchasers and investors.
- Advising on the tax implications of debt restructuring and tax issues arising in insolvency situations.
- Advising on the implementation of employee share schemes including Enterprise Management Incentives.
- Advising on R&D tax relief and capital allowances claims.
David lives with his wife and two young sons, who ensure that his weekends are busy with children’s parties and football training. His other interests include travel and an appreciation of craft beers.
